Omani "male" frankincense (luban dhakar) from Luban Al Fakher is carefully harvested from frankincense trees in the Dhofar mountains. "Male" refers to the larger, harder and fuller tears – one of the most prized types among frankincense lovers. Strong, deep aroma that lasts when burned.
How to burn: Place a few tears on a lit charcoal disc in a heat-proof burner (mabkhara), or on an electric incense burner. Never leave burning incense unattended.
Origin: Dhofar, Sultanate of Oman – the home of Boswellia sacra.
Storage: Keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture.
